About Michael Carlisle Photography

Hi, I'm Michael. I'm a photgrapher, film maker and writer based in North West Lancashire. Upon receiving a camera as a present during lockdown, I unknowingly set out on a creative journey that has now completely changed the direction of my life. During my initial experiments with photography, I developed a fascination with what can be captured within a frame and I soon developed a  strong desire to tell stories visually.  Expanding on my initial work, I am now also moving into film making. With a screenplay crafted and my debut short film in pre-production, I intend to showcase the abilities I have to create a world which is unique and to surprise the viewer with the characters and the storylines that inhabit there.
